Exploring Hawaii is always enjoyable and many people suggest you do so by horse. However, at the very popular Kualoa Ranch in Oahu Hawaii, horseback riding is more than just touring the island and it isn’t just at this single ranch. There are several rodeos in Hawaii throughout each year, but Oahu is home to many of the most impressive rodeo events.

Paniolo Country Rodeo
At Gunstock Ranch, on the northeast side of Oahu, you will find this rodeo if you are in Oahu during the month of August. The ranch is 400 acres and is a fully working ranch when the rodeo isn’t in town. While you are enjoying the rodeo, you can also book horse riding adventures of your own if you want to explore the surrounding area.
The 4th of July All Star Rodeo
One of the biggest events you will find is hosted at the New Town and Country Stables Rodeo Arena, which is located in Waimanalo. It is an event that encourages both women and men to test their skills and encourages kids to dream big.
